Terms of use
Last updated: October 23, 2026
Agreement
These terms govern your use of the Reprise app and this website, provided by Lean6 Technology Ltd. (“Lean6”, “we”), Alberta, Canada. By using either, you agree to them. If you use Reprise on behalf of a club or association, you agree on its behalf.
App Store
If you downloaded Reprise from Apple’s App Store, your licence to the app is Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, and these terms apply alongside it. These terms are between you and Lean6, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Reprise and is not responsible for addressing claims about it, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms.
What Reprise is, and isn’t
Reprise is a video review and passivity timing aid for clubs, training and events. It is not an FIE-homologated video refereeing system and not an official scoring device. Clips and labels are produced automatically from the scoring box’s signals and may be incomplete or wrong, for example if the box, cable, Bluetooth link or camera misbehaves. Referees remain solely responsible for their decisions, and no result should depend on Reprise working.
Your responsibilities
- Obtain any consent required to record the people you film, including a parent or guardian’s consent for minors, and follow your club’s, venue’s and federation’s rules on recording.
- Only post clips you have the right to share, and follow the terms of any service you post to (for YouTube, the YouTube Terms of Service).
- Don’t use Reprise to harass anyone, to interfere with a scoring box or another person’s devices, or in breach of law.
- Keep your own copies of clips that matter. Clips stored only in the app can be lost with the device or removed by its storage limit.
Your content
Recordings and clips you make are yours. We don’t receive them and claim no rights in them. When you post a clip to a third-party service, that service’s terms govern it.
Our software and brand
Reprise, its software, design and the Reprise name and logo belong to Lean6. Don’t copy, modify, reverse-engineer or resell the app except as the law allows. Favero and other scoring box names belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
Changes and availability
We may update Reprise, add or remove features, or change these terms. If a change to these terms is material, we’ll give notice on this page before it takes effect. Continuing to use Reprise after that means you accept the updated terms.
Disclaimer
Except where the law does not allow it, Reprise and this website are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of clips or labels, and uninterrupted operation.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Lean6 is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, for lost data or recordings, or for any competition result, and our total liability for any claim related to Reprise is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Alberta have jurisdiction, unless the consumer protection law where you live gives you the right to use your local courts.
